David Luck a well known local mariner sailed up in his ship

Mon Reve.The deck was then used to perform

a Daphne du Maurier play Frenchman's Creek.

sit a rock and sketch. The cove was also

a favorite spot for the writer Daphne du Maurier

and features in her well known Book Rebecca.
